Ceramic Cell Cartridge vs Premium Brands: Full Spec Comparison

Most premium 510 cartridges share the same core build: a glass tank, a ceramic heating element, and a standard 510 base. The real differences are in center post material, how many aperture sizes you can choose from, and whether the supplier publishes their specs at all.

Why the aperture options matter

Intake hole size has to match the viscosity of your fill material. Large apertures (2.0mm) are made for thick material. Small apertures (1.2mm) are made for thin material. Use the wrong size and the oil leaks out of the cartridge.

Most suppliers give you two choices and expect you to adjust your oil to fit the hardware. Our three aperture sizes let you match the hardware to the oil you already produce. If you run a thinner distillate, the 1.2mm option exists precisely for that. Our most popular and in-stock size is 2.0mm.

Why 316 stainless steel

The center post carries the oil path and sits in contact with your material at vaporization temperature. 316 stainless is corrosion resistant and does not leach at the temperatures a cartridge operates at. Copper posts are common because they are cheaper to produce.

This connects directly to heavy metal testing. Post material is one of the primary sources of metal migration in a cartridge, which is why we test every batch rather than testing once and reusing the certificate.

What "not published" means for your operation

Two rows above are blank on the competitor side because those specs are not made public.

Coil resistance determines the voltage range you should be recommending to your customers. At 1.2 to 1.4 ohms, our cartridges run well in the standard 2.4V to 3.2V range that most 510 batteries default to. If a supplier will not publish resistance, you are guessing at what voltage your product performs best.

Lab results matter for the same reason. We publish third-party heavy metal testing by batch, with dates and batch numbers, on our lab results page. You can check the batch you received rather than taking a general assurance.
